Commercial Water Damage – Santa Monica Building Site

Commercial water damage occurred at this Santa Monica building site due to the fire-suppressant sprinkler system being triggered by accident. SERVPRO was called in to mitigate the water damage due to the enormity of the site. We had sufficient water removal equipment and the trained staff to handle a job of this size. We began the project by extracting the standing water. Once the water was cleaned up, we positioned commercial air movers and dehumidifiers to provide drying to the affected surfaces. Some drywall needed to be removed to allow for drying behind the lower portion of walls that had been saturated with water. Relative humidity and air quality were monitored during the process to provide reports to the insurance adjusters.
