Storm Damage – Marina Del Ray Home

Storm damage flooded this Marina Del Ray home as evidenced by the before photo above. Muddy water had flooded this house with as much as one foot of standing water at the peak of the incident. SERVPRO was called to clean up the water and debris that was left in the wake of this storm. We cleaned up the water, but could not restore all of the drywall. We had to tear out large portions of the drywall to dry and treat the studs and other building materials. First, after a thorough cleaning, we had to dry the affected area using industrial air movers and dehumidifiers. We also treated the areas with an antimicrobial substance to inhibit mold growth.
