Fire Damage – Santa Monica Home

Fire damage at this Sanat Monica home appeared to be a total demolish and rebuild project. The fire had reached such severe temperatures that it burnt through the kitchen ceiling and then through the roof of the house. Other rooms were severely affected also. Areas of the home that were not charred by the smoke had severe soot and smoke damage. SERVPRO was brought in to assess the damage and provide a recommendation to the homeowner and his insurance adjuster. We delivered a project plan that featured more restoration than demolition and rebuilds. The insurance adjuster and homeowner signed off on the plan, and we began work. The after photo is representative of the finished product throughout the home. We had delivered what the family wanted at a lower cost than demolishing and starting over.
