Mold Growing Inside a Wall in Venice Beach

The homeowner in this home in Venice Beach spotted a staining of the wall in this bedroom and also detected a nasty odor. The moisture to feed this mold growth originated from below in the crawl space from a water line. We corrected the leak and opened up the wall. The ruined material was safely discarded. We set up containment to isolate the demolition eliminating the circulation of mold spores and dust to other areas of the house. Our SERVPRO techs then sprayed an antifungal chemical to complete the mold remediation service. We came back the following day to close up the wall with new drywall.
